Abstract This chapter examines how the stigma of AIDS results in negative attitudes and a lack of empathy toward persons with AIDS among high school students in Zambia. It describes attitudes toward HIV/AIDS and people living with HIV/AIDS among 204 male and female public high school students in Lusaka.
