Observational data are presented relating to several topographical features of teachers questioning patterns in a sample of Papua New Guinea High Schools. Question rate is reported and compared with that obtained in four American studies. A measure is given of the proportion of teacher questions which were controlled. The testing situation (a modified T-maze), the length of the delay period (10 sec), and the amount of training per session and per week were kept identical for all three species. The results indicated that (1) animals of all three species acquired the task within similar time spans, (2) a considerable variance was apparent in...

Eight hundred and seventy male and female freshman university students completed the Eysenck Personality Questionnaire (EPQ) as part of a study of the social, personality and mental health characteristics of Nigerian university students. The findings show that the EPQ is, in general, applicable in Nigeria, but there is need for further research to clarify differences between Nigerian and British subjects.

Abstract Jourard's 60-item Self Disclosure Questionnaire was completed by 100 White male and female South African university students. Although the disclosure patterns of these two groups were similar, the females disclosed significantly more to the mother- and the same-sex-friend-targets than did the males. The results are discussed in terms of male and female university student life-styles and processes of socialization.
