This paper evaluates the teaching and effect of library use course at the Federal College of Education, Abeokuta, Nigeria. Questionnaire method was used to obtain data in the five (5) schools in the college. Out of 550 copies of questionnaires sent out to students, 540 were returned giving a response rate of 98% and 100% for librarians. The result showed that professional librarian give adequate instructions to users despite limited facilities.
