The primary purpose of this study was to pinpoint areas of knowledge and ignorance about AIDS among Zimbabwean primary and 2ndary teacher-trainees in January-February 1987, prior to the public awareness campaign. A 2ndary purpose was to ascertain how acceptable questions concerning sex are to a literate Zimbabwean sample.
