This research project aims to understand the factors that influence susceptibility to HIV for female and male students in LAMS (Lycee Agricole Meidji o Sekou in Benin), in order to contribute to the reduction of the phenomenon. The results of questionnaires, group discussions and interviews show the perceptions, knowledge, behaviour and risk factors that influence susceptibility to HIV for female and male students in LAMS.

This study presents a model to estimate potential benefits of drought-tolerant varieties of maize, sorghum and millet in Kenya, Uganda and the Amhara region of Ethiopia.
