In this paper we did a comparative study on teaching practice between Jingzhou Teachers College (JTC) and Lobatse College of Education(LCE). The study showed that both the two colleges had their own features in the management of teaching practice, but LCE did more systematically and rationally in the management of teaching practice than JTC.

From 1992 to 1994 the physico-chemical conditions of two systems on the east coast of southern Africa shifted from estuarine to freshwater as a result of mouth closure during the prevailing drought. The prevalence of urinary schistosomiasis among schoolchildren in Pangani District (Tanzania) was assessed rapidly by a questionnaire approach. Based on the results, a strategy of selective treatment with praziquantel was adopted. This paper explores the experiences of twenty-two Black women in four South African universities located in the Eastern and Western Provinces of Apartheid South Africa. The study explores how a select group of women have managed to acquire an education and the sources of funding which made it possible to extend their education beyond the limits that apply to most Black females in pre-democratic South Africa.
