日本の理科教育における国際協カプロジェクトでは.協力対象国の研修指導者を日本以外の国で行う第3国研修として,アフリカの理科教員研修指導者を東南アジアで研修を行っている.本研究ではケニア理科教員研修指導者のフィリピン大学国立理数科教育開発研究所での研修を取り上げた.第3国研修の利点と考えられる,費用対効果面での利点を持つか,研修の運営内容面で利点を持つか,研修実施機関の能力向上につながっているか,について明らかにした.調査は, 2008年1月にフィリピン研修時の観察, インタビュー,質間紙調査, 2008年8月にケニアでの研修観察,インタビューを行った.調査の結果から,研修は安価であり,受講者は,研修全体,研修講師,研修リソースについて評価が高い.また,研修受講者は帰国後に,教育方法の改善,教材の活用,コンピュータの活用の面において研修成果を活用している.このため研修は,コストバフォーマンスがよいと言える.研修の運営実施面では,英語によるスムーズな講義と運営が行われ,十分な運常スタッフを有する利点があるため, 日本での研修に比べ利点を持つ.また,...
