Human lice (head and body) are among the arthropod-ectoparasites of worldwide distribution. Examining students in primary, preparatory and secondary schools recorded prevalence rates of 21.86%, 30.38% and 12.94% respectively. The overall rate of the lice infestation in the three schools was 384 out of 1772 or 21.67%. This paper illustrates the potential of the balanced scorecard as an instrument for accounting educators to guide, stimulate and sustain efforts in respect of planning and improvement in the accounting education environment. The results of the reported survey among the heads of eleven accounting departments at South African universities support the potential applicability of the balanced scorecard in this regard.

This cross-sectional survey was carried out to assess epidemiological data concerning dental injuries to the permanent incisors of Syrian children. It included 1087 children aged 9 to 12 years, of both sexes, randomly selected from public and private primary schools in Damascus. The response rate was 100%. The aim of this study was to assess social conditions, school history, professional choices and oral health status of first-year dental students 1998/1999. Chemical and isotopic compositions are reported for water, and CO2 and noble gases in groundwater and soda springs from Bioko, Principé, São Tomé and Annobon, all islands located in the off-shore part of the Cameroon Volcanic Line in West Africa. The objective of this study is to describe the oral hygiene habits and the status of the teeth decay of 150 senegalese students living in a university campus.
