The paper dwelt on managing teacher education in Nigeria. It made an indept conceptual clarification of teacher, teaching and teacher education. The historical development of teacher education in Nigeria was then addressed, including management of teacher education in Nigeria and the challenges facing. Such challenges are poor funding and inadequate infrastructural provision amongst others.
