In order to estimate the economic costs of climate change for Tunisia, this paper uses a combination of biophysical and economic models. In addition, the paper draws on the literature to complement the quantitative analysis with policy recommendations on how to adapt to the changing climate. The Study is aimed to look at climate change issues and the implications it has on environment in a coastal area of Nigeria. Each effect of climate change is affecting sustained development in the area. Forty respondents were randomly selected for the study from four villages in the area. Questionnaires, personal observations and oral interviews were used to collect data. Data analysis was through descriptive statistics.The research has brought issues for further studies since it is exploratory in nature.
