In March, 1964, Greiner and Berry (1) described in detail their observations of 70 patients with abnormal oculocutaneous pigmentation following long-term, high dose chlorpromazine therapy. They first noted this phenomenon in 1958. Several common factors were found in most patients; the majority were Caucasians with very fair skin, and had histories of prolonged sunlight exposure.
