The aim of this study was to investigate nasopharyngeal carriage rate and antibiotic susceptibility patterns of Streptococcus pneumoniae among school children.Three hundred eleven (43.8%) became culture positive for S. pneumoniae. It also analyses the Court’s reasoning to explore how a non-Australian common law state protects a traditional community’s customary laws and practices through legislation, a Constitutional Bill of Rights, and international law.
