The experiment conducted in central Nigeria has shown that the African child here is undernourished, to a certain extent lacking in vitamins, and that he is richly infested by parasites. Editors Note: The paper here presented is one of a series relating to the handwriting performance of South African school pupils. The earlier paper dealt with the subject of manuscript writing. It is the purpose of this paper to present brief reports upon three studies of handwriting. The first presents data on the handwriting performance of boys and girls. I.
