The mismatch between instruction and learning could pose a serious barrier to effective teaching and learning. Effective teaching should be a dynamic alignment and realignment of teaching and learning styles to optimise achievement. When teaching and learning styles do not complement each other students may become anxious, frustrated and disengaged which may have negative effects on their performance. The focus of the study is to gather evidence on how students perceive their own learning in...

We present results of model simulations of maize, wheat, and sorghum yields in Ethiopia through 2085. The analysis draws on climate outcomes from 32 global climate models and an agronomic crop model to estimate effects on the yields of these cereals of expected higher temperatures and, for most of Ethiopia, increased rainfall. The simulation results suggest that climate change will likely have only relatively small effects on average yields of maize, wheat, and sorghum in Ethiopia up to...

Abstract Generating scientific evidence on future drought is very crucial for designing adaption strategies ahead of time. In this study, agricultural drought is computed for Ethiopia using bias-corrected Coordinated Regional Climate Downscaling Experiment (CORDEX) Africa climate data considering past and future climate scenarios. Model performance comparison is done among eight CORDEX Africa climate models. Center National de Recherches Meteorologiques-Center Europe’en de Recherche et de...
