The objective was to determine if teachers’ turnover is independent of the structural characteristics of the schools in which they teach. Using stratified random sampling, 365 (215 male and 150 female) teachers were drawn from twelve secondary schools in Cross River State, Nigeria to test the hypothesis that teachers’ job turnover was independent of the school types, size and location in which they teach.
